Gallery - Bubbles v1.0.0



One of the main critiques I got on my reel this year was that the scenes I used for my simulation were too contrived, which is true.  I could make a number of excuses about how I didn't have time, but that's in the past.  I have time now, so I'm venturing to make interesting scenes for my jello sim and cloth sim.  But first, I'm going to make one for the bubble sim that Zia and I made for our final project if Physically Based Animation.  Our original scene had a tank like structure, and ended up rendering really badly.  I think champagne is a good vessel for bubbles, which is how I arrived at this scene.  The focus is to be on the glasses, which is why I (tried to) use depth of field.  There's still a lot of work to do on this image, but I think it's a good start.
